The team tops the table with 24 points from 12 wins, ahead of Al-Qadsia on 22 points and Kazma on 21, with two matches scheduled at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex.
The Arab Times report listed Al-Qurain in fourth position with 19 points, followed by Al-Sulaibikhat on 17, Al-Nasr with 15 and Al-Arabi and Al-Sahel tied on 13 points each. Only the top four teams will progress to the Golden Square playoffs, contested in a best-of-three series, leaving the fourth spot contested between Al-Qurain and Al-Sulaibikhat. Kuwait Club, Al-Qadsia and Kazma have almost certainly qualified, the publication stated.
Kuwait Club has won a record 15 Kuwaiti Division I titles, including six consecutive championships from 2019 to 2024, according to league historical data from the Kuwait Basketball Association. This current unbeaten streak underscores the club’s continued supremacy in domestic competition. The team first claimed the title in 1966 and has built a dynasty in recent years.
In the 2025-26 FIBA WASL – Gulf League, Kuwait SC has compiled a 6-2 win-loss record and reached the semi-finals, FIBA basketball data shows.
