Security personnel discovered the charred body of a Gulf national upon arrival but identified inconsistencies including blood traces inside the victim’s vehicle that indicated the death preceded the fire. This prompted a full homicide investigation rather than treatment as an accidental blaze.
Investigators collected evidence across the site, recovering the victim’s clothing and personal items while identifying efforts to conceal or destroy material linked to the incident, according to the ministry. Attention focused on the pen’s guard, who was arrested and confronted with the accumulated findings. The suspect confessed that the killing followed a dispute in which he struck the victim with a wooden stick before moving him to the fodder area and setting the fire to hide the crime.
The ministry detailed additional steps the suspect took to erase traces, including attempts to clean bloodstains and dispose of belongings. Evidence from the scene enabled authorities to reconstruct the full sequence of events from the initial altercation through the concealment attempt. The suspect has been referred to the competent authorities following completion of all legal procedures at the investigation stage.
