According to the Ministry of Interior’s Operations Room, the hit-and-run occurred on July 28 when a Kuwaiti citizen struck an Arab expatriate with a vehicle in the Jahra market. The victim, a man in his forties, suffered injuries and fractures and was taken by ambulance to Jahra Hospital. Patrols took the driver into custody following their response to the scene.
The operations room had received the report and dispatched patrols along with paramedics promptly to the market area. The coordinated arrival allowed for immediate medical attention at the location before hospital transfer. Officials confirmed the expatriate’s admission and the driver’s detention as part of standard traffic enforcement procedures.
