Al-Anba newspaper reported that the operations room received a notification of a fall from height. A police patrol dispatched to the location discovered the man inside the basement of one of the buildings, where he had already died. The newspaper added that authorities registered a case for the incident although the file included no specifics about the height of the fall or the events preceding it.

The victim was identified as an Egyptian national born in 1971 according to the same security source cited by Al-Anba. Local media outlets have covered multiple comparable incidents involving expatriate workers in recent weeks including falls at construction locations. In each of those cases the Ministry of Interior has assigned personnel to examine the scene and gather statements.

Public Authority for Civil Information figures place Kuwait’s expatriate population at roughly 3.3 million with Egyptians forming one of the largest national groups. Many expatriates work in construction maintenance and related fields that carry elevated safety demands. The authority’s demographic data highlight the scale of the foreign workforce supporting key sectors of the national economy.

The Ministry of Interior directs such fatalities to the public prosecution for legal processing and forensic examination. Security personnel typically secure the site collect evidence and interview any available witnesses as part of the standard procedure. No updates on potential charges or building conditions have emerged from the latest investigation.

Similar accidents have prompted authorities to review occupational safety measures at residential and commercial sites across the country according to repeated statements from the Ministry of Interior. Regional labor reviews by the International Labour Organization have tracked construction as a high-risk industry for migrant workers in the Gulf. Kuwaiti officials have repeatedly called for stricter enforcement of safety regulations to limit preventable workplace deaths.
