Public Authority for Civil Information figures place Kuwait’s population at 5.31 million with expatriates comprising 70 percent and Bangladeshis numbering around 333,000. This demographic scale supports the vibrant cricket scene sustained by groups such as the Bangladesh Cricket Association which runs several T20 tournaments each year. The Champions League edition just concluded adds to a busy schedule that includes the Summer League and President Cup as listed on the association website.
The association’s tournament records indicate four groups fed into quarterfinals semifinals and the November 7 2025 final with Jleeb Probashi emerging as champions under captain M. Mozam. The club maintains a roster of 22 players many of whom feature in other local competitions. Such consistent organization has helped establish cricket as a key recreational outlet for the expatriate population.
Kuwait Times noted that the final turned the ground into a focal point for fans enjoying the winter season when such matches draw large crowds. The 60-run margin highlighted the all-round strength of the winning side throughout the decisive encounter. This latest success reinforces the association’s role in promoting structured cricket events that engage players from multiple nationalities.
