Al-Seyassah reported that Burgan’s latest signings align with its efforts to sustain momentum following its continental success. KUNA figures show the club defeated Saudi Arabia’s Al-Khaleej 34-32 in the Asian Men’s Club League final on June 17 at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Indoor Sports Complex in Kuwait. The victory qualified Burgan for the international club event while local teams continue evaluating both domestic and foreign options to strengthen their squads for the 2026-2027 campaign.
The Al-Seyassah account indicated that a large group of seasoned players entered the transfer market after Qadsia’s decision to disband its first team and the conclusion of several contracts elsewhere. Kuwait Club is set to reintegrate Mohammed Ghaneem, Mohammed Bouyabes and Hussein Al-Mutairi upon their return from loan spells at Burgan. The club has already added Haider Dashti as it readies for upcoming domestic and regional fixtures.
Al-Seyassah stated that Sahel completed the acquisition of Nasser Faraj as one element of its roster overhaul for the new season. The club had earlier signed Serbian player Jovan Milisavljevic, Brazilian Leandro da Silva and Frenchman Nicolas Claire while naming national coach Hussein Habib to the technical staff. These moves reflect coordinated administrative and coaching plans aimed at elevating the team’s standing in the Kuwaiti league.
According to the report, Kazma arranged a two-season loan for Abdulaziz Salem from Qadsia to expand its tactical resources ahead of the start of play.
