According to KUNA, Sheikh Fahad paid an official visit to Lebanon in July 2025, during which Minister Al-Hajjar received him at the airport in Beirut. The Kuwaiti official held talks with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on strengthening security cooperation and other regional and international issues. The 2025 trip also included meetings with senior Lebanese security and administrative officials.
Saudi Gazette reported that in May 2026, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah and Ahmad Al-Hajjar both attended a meeting in Makkah with Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif and other counterparts from Iraq and Pakistan. The discussions centered on security cooperation and preparations for the Hajj pilgrimage.
