The Public Authority for Civil Information announced the new service on its official X account, allowing companies to update information such as contact details and electronic platforms directly on Kuwait Finder. This integration with the Sahel Business app eliminates the need for in-person visits to complete such updates. PACI described the feature as a means to facilitate the process with ease and efficiency for all registered entities. The authority has rolled out multiple digital enhancements in recent months through its platforms.

According to Kuwait Government Online, the Sahel Business application serves as a unified channel for the business sector, providing single sign-on access to services, notifications from government entities and appointment booking. The latest addition targets data accuracy on Kuwait Finder, PACI’s mapping tool that supports searches by address, PACI number or business category. Figures from the Google Play store show the Kuwait Finder app has achieved more than one million downloads.

PACI’s newsroom lists comparable recent launches via the Sahel platform, including a building cancellation service introduced on October 7, 2026, and an entity deletion feature in August. These steps form part of a wider government instruction for all agencies to migrate services to Sahel within six months, as reported in sector updates. The Public Authority for Civil Information continues to expand electronic options to reduce administrative hurdles for businesses.

The Sahel Business app further permits users to track application statuses, receive official alerts and verify document expiration dates in one interface. In its announcements, PACI has emphasised the role of such tools in streamlining procedures for commercial entities across Kuwait. This service specifically helps ensure that business listings on Kuwait Finder remain current with the latest communication and online platform information.

Public Authority for Civil Information data from its website highlights ongoing additions to both the main Sahel app and the dedicated business version. The authority coordinates with other ministries to integrate services, as seen in prior judicial notifications rolled out through the platform earlier this year. Entities authorised on Sahel Business can now handle their Kuwait Finder profiles alongside other routine transactions.
