The Meteorological Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation reported hot and humid conditions especially over coastal areas for Saturday with light variable winds shifting to light to moderate southeasterly between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour. Scattered clouds are set to appear during the day according to the department’s bulletin while a chance of light fog formation exists at night. The assessment from the department placed maximum temperatures at 38 degrees Celsius for Kuwait Airport and up to 41 degrees in Wafra with similar heat expected in other monitoring stations.

According to the department’s overnight forecast rather hot to mild and humid weather will prevail especially in coastal zones with light variable winds between 6 and 22 kilometers per hour. High clouds may develop over some regions as light fog remains possible in scattered areas the bulletin indicated. Sea conditions will stay slight to moderate with wave heights of 1 to 3 feet during the day easing to 1 to 2 feet after dark according to the department’s data.

The Meteorological Department listed expected maximum temperatures of 37 degrees in Kuwait City 38 at the airport 40 in both Jal Aliyah and Salmy 38 in Nuwaiseeb and 41 in Wafra alongside minimums ranging from 22 to 31 degrees across these locations. These readings come as no active weather warnings are in place the department confirmed in its latest update. The figures reflect ongoing patterns detailed in the authority’s daily assessments for the region.

Forecasts from the department for the coming days point to continued hot and relatively humid conditions with highs around 39 degrees Celsius on Sunday and variable winds between 6 and 26 kilometers per hour. Scattered clouds will persist with similar overnight humidity and potential for light fog the extended outlook showed. The department’s four-day projection maintains slight to moderate sea states throughout the period with minimal wave activity expected.

The Meteorological Department encouraged residents to monitor updates via its official website and dedicated mobile application for any revisions to the forecast. This approach allows the public to receive timely information on evolving weather patterns across Kuwait. Long-term records maintained by the department indicate that such humid spells often accompany the shift into the autumn months in the country.

An assessment by the Meteorological Department linked the current conditions to an extension of a low-pressure system that has increased humidity levels particularly near the coast. Similar forecasts have been issued in recent bulletins as temperatures have hovered above typical early autumn readings in many areas. Coastal communities are expected to experience the most pronounced effects from the combination of heat and moisture the department noted.
