According to the authority, updates can proceed through the unified Sahel government services application once supporting documents are prepared. These typically include a valid lease contract, civil identification card and proof of the new residence. Office visits to PACI branches remain an option for those preferring in-person submission, where staff verify submissions against official records.
PACI stated that failure to meet the deadline triggers penalties under Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982. The provision sets a maximum fine of KD100 per person, multiplied according to the number of individuals tied to the same violation. A review of PACI procedures shows that non-compliance can also lead to civil ID suspension and removal from mobile identification services.
This deletion continues a series of similar actions taken throughout 2026. In July the authority removed addresses belonging to 425 individuals under parallel circumstances, according to a report from Times Kuwait. Earlier notices have addressed comparable totals, reflecting systematic reviews prompted by property owner reports of inaccurate registrations.
